Dr. Samuel Fehring Almquist, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in both military and civilian healthcare. He provides comprehensive medical dermatology, skin cancer care and outpatient skin surgery, caring for patients of all ages with all skin conditions. A former U.S. Army brigade surgeon and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, Dr. Almquist has also held academic and leadership roles, including Chief of Multi-Specialty Clinics at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Dr. Almquist is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each patient and values strong patient relationships through compassion and patient education.
Dr. Almquist has called Bend a second home for many years and is excited to settle in Bend and join Derm Health full-time. When not caring for patients, Dr. Almquist spends his time with his wife and dog, or snowboarding, mountain biking or traveling.
