Show Support with the AIM at Melanoma Walk

As summer approaches, it’s time to think about ways we can give back to our community and show our support for those affected by melanoma. One of the best ways to do this is to participate in an AIM at Melanoma Walk.
AIM at Melanoma is an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for melanoma research. Their mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the latest treatments and advances in melanoma research, and to ultimately find a cure for this deadly disease. This year, AIM at Melanoma is hosting walks across the country to raise money for their cause. The walk in Bend is on May 21, 2023 starting at 8 am at Riverbend Park.
Participating in an AIM at Melanoma Walk is a great way to show your support for those affected by the disease. The walks are open to anyone, so you can invite your family, friends, and co-workers to join you. You can even create a team and have everyone wear matching t-shirts or hats to show your solidarity.
The walk will be a 5k, so the route we chose is 3 miles. The walk does not provide hats and shirts, however if the participant raises $50, they will receive a shirt. The walk is free to all, but donations are greatly appreciated. Participants can sign up individually or as a team to raise money and awareness for the Melanoma walk.
